Adrian Spamann

Adrian Spamann (born January 13, 1843 in Lindau , † April 19, 1928 in Bolchen ) was a German- Lorraine organ builder .

Live and act

Spamann joined the organ building company Dalstein & Haerpfer (today Haerpfer & Erman ) in Bolchen in 1864 . In 1886 he founded his own factory at the same location under his name; the marking on their organs reads A. Spamann in Bolchen (Lorraine) . The company went out after his death in 1928.

Spamann's most important work in Germany is likely to be the rebuilding of the organ of the Schlosskirche in Saarbrücken from 1897. Some of the organs he built are listed in the Inventaire général du patrimoine culturel , the inventory of French cultural assets .

Spamann's message about his expansion of the tin pipes of the organ of the parish church in Schwerdorff in 1917 with the calculation of compensation in the amount of 803.60 marks

During the First World War he was also an expert in determining the value of organ pipes that were to be confiscated as part of the metal donation of the German people . He also expanded the pipes himself.
