Adriana von Nassau-Dillenburg (born February 7, 1449 in Breda ; † January 15, 1477 ) was a daughter of Count Johann IV of Nassau-Dillenburg . Since September 12, 1468 she was married to Count Philipp I von Hanau-Münzenberg .

From this marriage emerged:

  1. A daughter (born April 4, 1469) died shortly after birth
  2. Adriana (* May 1, 1470; † April 12, 1524), married in 1489 to Count Philipp von Solms-Lich (* August 15, 1468; † October 3, 1544)
  3. Margarethe (April 6, 1471; † September 5, 1503, Liebenau Monastery ), nun
  4. Reinhard IV (March 14, 1473 - January 30, 1512)
  5. Anna (March 15, 1474 - March 21, 1475)
  6. Marie (March 4, 1475 - May 18, 1476)

Adriana was buried in the Marienkirche in Hanau , where her epitaph , which she depicts in a praying position towards the high altar (no longer in existence today) , including the painting, is very well preserved, as is her grave plate.
