Adriano Goldman

Adriano Goldman (* in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian cameraman and director .

Life

Adriano Goldman started his career as a camera operator and then filmed numerous commercials and music videos, working very closely with MTV Brazil. The first short films and documentaries were made from the late 1990s. After that he mainly worked as a cameraman for Brazilian television productions and also took over the direction of some series episodes.

In 2009 he worked with director Cary Fukunaga for the first time on the drama Sin Nombre . At the Sundance Film Festival 2009 he received the Excellence in Cinematography Award: US Dramatic . Two years later, Goldman and Fukunaga worked again for Jane Eyre .

Goldman then increasingly filmed international productions such as The Company You Keep - The Grant Files , Under Observation , In August in Osage County , Trash or Im Rausch der Sterne . In 2016, Goldman was responsible for camera work on six episodes of the Netflix series The Crown .
