Aero Dili is an airline based in Dili ( East Timor ). The office is located in Timor Plaza . Aero Dili started operations in June 2018 and offers flights from Dili to Baucau , Suai and Oecusse . International destinations are not served. The fleet consists of single-engine machines of the type Cessna 172P , 172G and 207T . Aero Dili made a machine available to the Defense Forces of East Timor (F-FDTL). The aircraft are the first ever to carry the country code 4W- for registration in East Timor.

Incidents
On February 20, 2019, the Cessna 172 4W-AAA crash-landed on the flight from Suai to Dili. There were technical problems west of the state capital. The pilot attempted an emergency landing . The machine brushed against a power line and hit a street near Ai Pelo . The pilot and the only passenger were unharmed. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair. The airline has been inactive since then.
