Agnes Tuckey

Agnes Katherine Raymond Tuckey (born July 8, 1877 in Marylebone , Middlesex, England as Agnes Daniell , † May 13, 1972 in Winchester , Hampshire, England) was a British tennis player .

In 1913 she won together with Hope Crisp the competition in the mixed of the Wimbledon Championships with a score of 3: 6 and 5: 3 after a task of their opponents Ethel Thomson Larcombe and James Parke . In individual, she achieved her best result in the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championships in 1908 .

Tuckey's son Raymond Tuckey was also a successful tennis player. In 1931 and 1932, the two formed the only mother-son team to date that has ever competed in the mixed competition at the Wimbledon tournament.
