Agnieszka Dominika Pomaska (born January 8, 1980 in Gdingen (Polish: Gdynia )) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska (Civic Platform) .

Life

Agnieszka Pomaska ​​grew up in the Tricity ( Trójmiasto ) and came into contact with water sports as a child. In 1994 she became Polish champion in sailing in the Optimist class , in 1998 second junior runner-up in windsurfing in the Mistral class and in 2000 Polish champion in freestyle windsurfing. In 2001 Pomaska ​​became a board member of Młodzi Demokraci ( Young Democrats ), the youth organization of the Civic Platform, and the following year chaired the Civic Platform. In 2002 she was elected Gdansk City Councilor . In 2005 Agnieszka Pomaska joined the University of Gdansk her political science studies with a master's from. In the following year she became deputy chairwoman of the city council of Gdańsk. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 she reached 9,495 votes in the constituency of 25 Gdańsk. This was not enough for an entry into the Sejm . In June 2009 Agnieszka Pomaska ​​moved to the Sejm for Jarosław Wałęsa and resigned from her seat on the city council.

She is one of 89 people from the European Union against whom Russia imposed an entry ban in May 2015 .

Agnieszka Pomaska ​​is married.
