Agrela is a place and a former municipality in northern Portugal .

Agrela belongs to the district Fafe in Braga District . The municipality had an area of ​​2 km² and has 187 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, as part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal, the municipalities of Agrela and Serafão were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Agrela e Serafão .
