Ahad Kazemi

Ahad Kazemi Sarai (born May 21, 1975 ) is an Iranian sports director and cyclist . He has been one of the most successful cyclists in Asia since the 1990s.

Career

Ahad Kazemi has been a cyclist since 1998. By 2015 he had won the Tour of Iran six times and the Tour of Turkey once . In 2002 he became Asian runner-up in road racing and in 2006 he won the national road title. In 2000 he started the road race at the Olympic Games in Sydney , but had to give up before the finish.

In 2010, Kazemis was tested positive for methenolone at the Tour de Langkawi and was banned for two years. He temporarily ended his active career and became Sporting Director of the Tabriz Petrochemical Team .

2015 Kazemi versa at the age of 40 years as an active cyclist wearing the jersey of the Tabriz Petrochemical Team , with whom he still sports director is in the peloton back. He won two stages in races, one each at the Tour de Singkarak and at the Tour of Fuzhou .
