Hernán Buenahora Gutiérrez (born March 18, 1967 in Barichara ) is a Colombian racing cyclist .

Hernán Buenahora began his professional career in 1990. In 1997 he took part in the Tour de France . A year later he moved to Vitalicio Seguros and won the Tour of Catalonia including two stage wins. In 2000 he went to Selle Italia , where a year later he wrote four stages of the Tour of Colombia on his account and won the overall standings. In the fall of 2006, Buenahora won the Clásico Ciclístico Banfoandes in Venezuela at the age of 39.

In May 2008 Buenahora was tested positive in a doping control at the Tour of Colombia, in which he also won the individual time trial . He was banned for two years.
