David de la Fuente
David de la Fuente (born May 4, 1981 in Reinosa ) is a Spanish professional cyclist . He is 1.74 m tall and weighs 65 kg.
His greatest sporting success so far is winning the dotted jersey on the second and eleventh stages of the 2006 Tour de France . In the end, he finished second in this class. His commitment was also awarded the red number for the most combative driver . At the end of the tour, a jury of experts voted him the most combative driver of the entire tour .
At the Tour de France 2008 he was able to conquer the dotted jersey on the 7th stage and defend it on the 8th and 9th stages . In 2009 he won the GP Miguel Induráin wearing the Fuji-Servetto team's jersey. In the autumn of the same year he reached second place in the mountain classification of the Vuelta a España , which he should also achieve at the Vuelta a España 2012.
