Ahlers & Vogel is a 1858 founded lawyer - and notary's office in Bremen with offices in Hamburg and, since 2011, in Leer (Ostfriesland) .
history
The law firm was founded by Julius Heinrich Eduard Stachow . It has had different names over the years. It is one of the oldest German law firms and the oldest law firm in Bremen. Numerous lawyers in the firm were politically active, including the future mayors of Bremen Albert Gröning , Hermann Hildebrand and Theodor Spitta as well as the future Federal President Karl Carstens . The law firm is traditionally geared towards commercial clients, larger institutions and activities for the public sector. The Hamburg branch has existed since 1993. To mark the 150th anniversary, a festive event took place in Bremen's town hall , to which, among others, the Justice Senator Ralf Nagel and the historian Arnulf Baring spoke.
Ahlers & Vogel is a medium-sized law firm that is distinguished in construction , shipping , labor and transport law and also excels in the area of company law. There are currently 30 lawyers (and one Of Counsel ) employed in the Bremen branch , 15 in Hamburg and 2 in Leer (a total of 24 partners and 27 associates).
