Ahmet Kıbıl (born December 15, 1952 in Sarıkamış , Kars ; † August 16, 2011 in Istanbul , Istanbul ) was a Turkish alpine ski racer .

Kıbıl took part in the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble at the age of 15 . In the giant slalom he finished 82nd and was the best Turkish starter. From 1971 to 1975 he was able to win the national championship title in alpine skiing. At the 1974 World Championships in St. Moritz , Kıbıl was 15th in the alpine combination . He experienced his second Olympic Games in Innsbruck in 1972 . While he could not finish the races in the slalom and giant slalom, he was 63 in downhill skiing .

After the end of his active career, Kıbıl works as a trainer and president of the Turkish Ski and Snowboard Association.

Kıbıl died of lung cancer in August 2011 .
