Ahorn is a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Lunz am See in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 203 building areas with 56,273 m² and 100 gardens on 79,604 m² in the cadastral municipality of Ahorn , in 1989/1990 there were 204 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 500 and in 2009/2010 there were 341 buildings on 498 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 488 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 2,236 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 475 hectares and 2240 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 423 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 2240 hectares. The average soil climate number of maple is 20.1 (as of 2010).
