Aida Steshenko

Aida Steshenko (born August 11, 1968 ) is a Turkmen table tennis player from the 1990s. She took part in five world championships and two Olympic Games.

Career

From 1993 to 2000 Aida Steshenko took part in all five world championships . However, it never came close to medal ranks. In 1996 and 2000 she qualified to take part in the Olympic Games. Here she only competed in the singles and couldn't win a game or a set: in 1996 she lost to Park Hae-jung (South Korea), Olga Nemes (Germany) and Chen Chiu-tan (Taiwan), and in 2000 she lost to Zita Molnár (Hungary) and Xu Jing (Taiwan).

She is currently the chairman and co- trainer of the Asola table tennis club , ASD Tennistavolo Battini Agri Asola .
