Danka Podovac (born July 2, 1982 in Vrnjačka Banja ) is a Serbian national soccer player.

Career

Podovac started her career in her hometown at the ŽFK Vrnjačka Banja. In 2002 she left her home club and joined the ŽFK Mašinac PZP Niš , for whom she played in the 2004 and 2005 UEFA Women's Cup . In 2006 Podovac left Serbia and moved to Iceland. She joined Keflavík ÍF in spring 2006 , where Podovac scored 17 goals in 44 games in two years. In spring 2008 she went to league rivals Fylkir Reykjavík and scored 13 goals in 17 games in the 2009 season. A year later, Podovac joined Þór Akureyri , scoring 9 goals in 13 games before joining ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar in 2011 . During the winter break of Pepsideild 2011 she played on loan for ŽFK Crvena Zvezda . In two years for Vestmannaeyjar scored 25 goals in 36 games and was runner-up in the 2012 season of Pepsideild. At the beginning of 2013, she finally went to UMF Stjarnan .

International

Podovac has been representing the Serbian women's national soccer team internationally since 2006 , after playing for the Serbian-Montenegrin national women's soccer team from 2003 to 2006 .
