Humano (German: Mensch) is a 2013 South American documentary directed by Alan Stivelman . It documents a young man's search for meaning, his journey to the Andes and the encounter with the autochthonous people of the Andes region.

Alan is 25 years old and wonders about the meaning of life. With only a camera and a laptop, he embarks on a journey to the Andes. There he meets Placido, a shaman. Placido wants to help Alan find answers to his questions. With the help of ancient rituals, Alan and Placido embark on a metaphysical journey into the history of their people. Alan gains awareness of the present through knowing his past.
