Aidan Nesbitt (born February 5, 1997 in Paisley ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Greenock Morton .

Career

society

Aidan Nesbitt began his career in the Youth Academy of Celtic Glasgow . In this, the trained striker completed games in the Glasgow Cup and the UEFA Youth League, in which he was very accurate. In the 2015/16 season of the Youth League , he helped Celtic to reach the following rounds with his goals. On May 21, 2015, Nesbitt scored a hat trick in the final of the Glasgow Cup, which was won 5-2 against the Glasgow Rangers . In September 2015, the then 18-year-old Nesbitt made his professional debut in the Celtic jersey in the third round of the Scottish League Cup 2015/16 against the Raith Rovers . In February 2016 he was awarded to league rivals Partick Thistle within Glasgow until the end of the 2015/16 season . Nesbitt made his debut for Thistle on February 23, 2016 in the game against FC St. Johnstone . By the end of the season, he was a total of seven times for the club in the league used before returning to Celtic . This was followed by a loan to second division club Greenock Morton . In August 2017 he moved to Milton Keynes Dons . After two seasons he went back to Scotland, and signed a contract with second division club Dundee United .

National team

Aidan Nesbitt played in international matches for the junior teams of Scotland from 2012 . He made his debut in the U-15 national team against Italy on March 20, 2012. In the following years Nesbitt was in the U-16 , U-17 and the Scottish U-19 for use.
