The Aim ( Russian Аи́м ) is a left tributary of the Maja in the Khabarovsk region in the Far East of Russia .

The aim arises at the confluence of its two source rivers Bolshoi Aim and Maly Aim. It flows over a distance of 110 km in a predominantly northeastern direction to the Maja, into which it flows on the left at the settlement of Aim . The catchment area of the Aim covers 26,500 km² and extends over the western part of the Ajano-Maiski Rajons in the Khabarovsk region. The two source rivers arise not far from each other in the Aldan highlands on the border with the Sakha Republic .

The much larger and longer right source river Bolshoi Aim (Большой Аи́м, "Great Aim") makes a wide arc from its source area to the east and later to the north. It finally meets the richer right tributary Omnja , which flows westwards , a few kilometers before the confluence of the Maly Aim. The Bolshoi Aim is 285 km long. Its catchment area covers 9080 km².

The Maly Aim (Ма́лый Аи́м, "Little Aim") is the left and smaller source river of the Aim. It flows in a predominantly northeastern direction. Its length is 127 km. It drains an area of 2360 km².
