Akçaören (formerly Ağcaviran ) is a village in the Ahlat district of the Bitlis province in Turkey . Akçaören is located about 82 km northeast of the provincial capital Bitlis and 24 km north of Ahlat. According to the last census, Akçaören had 259 inhabitants (as of December 2010). The population consists mainly of Kurds and Ossetians .
