The Akaflieg Munich Mü 4 "Munich" was a glider of the student flying group Akaflieg Munich , which was mainly used for training.

history

Since the number of members of Akaflieg Munich was steadily increasing, a simple training sailor was constructed in 1928 in order to have a second aircraft ready for training in addition to the Mü 2 “Münchner Kindl” . Particular emphasis was placed on good-natured flight characteristics and easy maintenance in the lightest construction of the Akaflieg Munich with a set-up weight of just 105 kg.
