The Akaflieg Munich Mü 11 "Parrot" was a single-seat glider belonging to the Akaflieg Munich student flying group , which was designed for training purposes.

history

After Akaflieg Munich was renamed the Aviation Technical Group (FFG) at the Technical University of Munich at the Deutsche Versuchsanstalt für Luftfahrt eV (DVL) after the seizure of power in 1935 and thus also funded by the state, brisk construction activity began. In 1935, for example, a glider was built whose simplicity of construction was similar to the popular SG 38 training glider . Unfortunately, there are hardly any records of the aircraft and it did not survive World War II.
