Claudia Akdemir Udenta

Claudia Akdemir Udenta (* 1965 in Hilden ) is a German-Turkish writer and journalist.

Life

Udenta grew up in Düsseldorf and studied political economy in Bonn and Berlin. She has been working in the film industry since the 1990s and commutes between her two places of residence, Istanbul and Berlin .

Udenta comes from prose works, including crime fiction and specialist book publications. Also active in the areas of screenplay, essay, literary translation and children's and youth literature. In addition, in 2000 she was the director of the German RTL mini-series Between the Hours , an early online TV experiment. In 2008 she produced another short film, in which she also directed: Bhâganâ - LENA WEiNT NiCHT , which was screened on June 6, 2009 in the Blow Up Kino in Berlin. The main actors are Deborah Kaufmann , Mathis Künzler and Jens Hasselmann.
