Al H̱amra , ( Arabic (الجزيرة الغربية / الجزيرة الحمراء (الحمراء, West Iceland, Iceland Red, dt .: Red Island) is an uninhabited island , which to Djibouti belonging archipelago of the Seven Brothers Islands in the Strait of Bab al Mandeb between the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean .

The island is located about 4.5 km off the coast of the Obock region , off the Ra’s Siyyān peninsula . It is the westernmost of the archipelago, egg-round and reaches a height of 62 meters (geonames: 41 m) above the sea with a clear volcanic cone . It is surrounded by reefs.

As the name implies, the rocks on the island are reddish in color.
