Az-Zabadani ( Arabic الزبداني, DMG az-Zabadānī ; also al-Zabadani ) is a Syrian city ​​in the district of the same name and the administrative seat of the district named after it in the governorate of Rif Dimaschq . In 2004 the city had 26,285 inhabitants, the areas belonging to the district since 2009 a total of approx. 64,000 inhabitants.
