Al Jazeera Balkans (AJB) is a news channel of the Al Jazeera network, which is headquartered in Sarajevo . Other smaller studios are located in Belgrade and Zagreb . The station is a sister station of the news channel Al Jazeera and broadcasts programs in Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian for 20 hours a day. For the rest of the time, content will be taken over from the sister station Al Jazeera English . The distribution area extends over the countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia , Serbia , Montenegro , Slovenia and North Macedonia .

In addition to the classic news programs, documentaries, talk shows, stock market, sports and technology programs are also produced. The station started broadcasting on November 11, 2011 and can be received via DVB-T as well as DVB-S , cable and IPTV . The station also offers a live stream on its website.
