Monika Planinc (born April 7, 1986 ) is a former Slovenian ski jumper .

Career

Planinc, which started for the SSK Mengeš club , made its international debut as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup on January 14, 2006 on its home hill in Ljubno . With 25th place, she immediately won her first Continental Cup points. After she narrowly missed the points in Toblach , Baiersbronn and Schönwald , she managed to win points again in Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer . After another 31st place in Breitenberg, Planinc reached 54th place overall at the end of the season.

After she was far behind the points in Klingenthal and Pöhla in the summer of 2006 , she only started again in the Continental Cup in January and February 2007, but also remained without points. In Villach and Ljubno, however, she was 32nd and 33rd only just behind the points.

After a further break, Planinc started again in the Continental Cup in January 2009 and won two points in her last competition with which she finished 83rd in the overall standings. Since she couldn't prevail within the Slovenian team afterwards, these were her last two international competitions.
