Alain Weber
Alain Weber (born December 8, 1930 in Château-Thierry ; † November 14, 2019 ) was a French composer .
Life
Alain Weber studied at the Paris Conservatory with Jules Gentil piano, René Challan harmony, Noël Gallon counterpoint, Tony Aubin composition and with Olivier Messiaen . In 1952 he won the Prix de Rome . He taught as a professor of counterpoint at the Conservatory.
Weber composed a chamber opera , a ballet , a symphony and numerous chamber music works.
