The Albaumer Bach arises in Oberalbaum with the confluence of the Lütken Aa and the Heinsberg Bach coming from Heinsberg , which can be seen as the upper reaches of the Albaumer Bach. The source of Krenkelsbach , as the main arm to Heinsberg is called, is located on the northwest slope of the Riemen , directly on the Rhine-Weser watershed . After a north-east and a south-west turn, the brook flows northwest of its source in Heinsberg parallel to state road 713, which it follows from now on to the northwest and also passes the Albaumer cliffs and then the eponymous place Albaum . from there on it is called Albaumer Bach after the confluence with the Lütken Aa . Finally it flows into Herrntrop at an altitude of 312 m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Hundem coming from the east.
