Albert Bulow

Albert Bülow (born June 22, 1883 in Stettin ; † February 10, 1961 in Geesthacht near Hamburg ) was a German politician of the Weimar Republic and a member of the Reichstag ( SPD ) in the 3rd and 4th electoral periods , from 1925 to 1930.

Life

The trained mechanical engineer Bülow was from May 1, 1910 to September 1, 1919 workers secretary and from September 1, 1919 to April 1, 1925 district administrator in the Franzburg district in Western Pomerania as well as a member of the provincial parliament of the Pomerania province and the Prussian State Council . He had been a member of the Reichstag since March 1925. He replaced August Horn (1866–1925) , a member of the Reichstag who died on March 26, 1925 .

In April 1933, May 1937 and again in July 1944, Bülow was briefly imprisoned. After the Second World War he lived in Hamburg, where he died in 1961.
