Albert Bauer (born October 2, 1890 in Raversbeuren ; † August 21, 1960 there ) was a German farmer and writer . He is considered a representative of the Blubo literature .

Life

Albert Bauer attended the village school, later he took over and ran his father's farm in his home village in the Hunsrück . He also wrote novels , stories , poems and plays . Among other things, he was awarded the Immermann Prize of the City of Düsseldorf in 1937 and the Kurt Faber Prize of the Westmark Foundation.

With Elly Kramb he wrote the Raversbeuren Passion in 1951/1952 , which was set to music by Cantor Hans Hermann Kurig.
