Albert "Wackel" Cozza (born December 18, 1910 in Tübingen , † November 1, 1983 in Stuttgart ) was a German football player and coach.

Career

Albert Cozza was active at FC Tübingen at the beginning of his career . In 1929 he moved to the juniors of the Stuttgarter Kickers . In 1932 Cozza was the first time in the squad of the first team of the Kickers, for which he was active until 1946. During this time, the defender was very successful and completed 24 games in the finals for the German championship. In the 1945/46 season Cozza played first division football in the Oberliga Süd , where he came to 17 other games in the dress of the Kickers.

After this season he stayed with the Kickers team, but as a coach and so he trained the professional team for two more seasons.

Private

Albert Cozza's nephew Christoph Kunze was also active for the first team of the Kickers from 2002 to 2003.
