Albert Gottfried Dietrich

Albert Gottfried Dietrich (born November 8, 1795 in Danzig ; † May 22, 1856 in Berlin ) was a Prussian , German botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is “ A.Dietr. "

He was custodian at the Botanical Garden in Berlin and teacher at the gardening school in Schöneberg . Together with Christoph Friedrich Otto he was the editor of the newspaper Allgemeine Gartenzeitung (1833-1856).
