Albert Iten

Albert Iten is a former Swiss cyclist and world champion who was active in cross-country and mountain bike races.

In 1991 Albert Iten became world champion in downhill on the mountain bike. In 1993 he was third in the Swiss championship in cyclo-cross racing and in the following year also third in the Swiss championship in downhill. In 1994 he was also European champion in cross country .

Iten is a trained electrician and continues to run the family business. He also works as a trainer. From 2010 to 2013 he was the Swiss national trainer for downhill and four cross . Iten has specialized in the construction of e-bikes since 2009 .
