Albert Janetschek

Albert Janetschek (born September 27, 1925 in Hochwolkersdorf ; † October 24, 1997 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian educator and writer .

Life

Albert Janetschek lived in Wiener Neustadt from 1933 and after 1945 completed his training as a teacher at the Wiener Neustadt teacher training institute and taught in Wiener Neustadt from 1948. From 1974 until his retirement in 1985 he was the elementary school director of the Pestalozzi School in Wiener Neustadt.

Janetschek was a co-founder of the Podium literary group , a member of the Austrian Writers' Association and Vice President of the Austrian PEN Club . He was a book reviewer for magazines and at ORF .
