Albert Raufowitsch Bachtisin

Albert Raufowitsch Bachtisin ( Russian Альберт Рауфович Бахтизин ; born March 25, 1975 ) is a Russian economist , mathematician and university professor .

Life

In 2002 Bakhtisin became laboratory director at the Central Institute for Economics and Mathematics (ZEMI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAN) in Moscow. He worked with Valeri Leonidowitsch Makarow and Robert Iskandovich Nigmatulin for his candidate dissertation using a mathematical model to describe interregional economic relations, which he defended in 2003. In 2007 he became senior research fellow at the Moscow Legislative and Comparative Research Institute of the Government of the Russian Federation . In 2008 he defended his doctoral thesis on hybrid methods for modeling a general economic equilibrium using agent-oriented programmed models.

In 2010 he became a professor at the Chair of Mathematical Methods of Economic Analysis at Lomonosov University Moscow (MGU) and head of the Laboratory for Modeling of Strategies of Cities and Urban Agglomerations of the Northwest Administrative Institute of the Russian Academy of Economics and Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation . In 2015 he was appointed professor at RAN. In 2016 he became a corresponding member of RAN. In 2017 he became director of ZEMI as successor to Valeri Leonidowitsch Makarov. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications to date.
