Albert Zugsmith

Albert Zugsmith (born April 24, 1910 in Atlantic City , New Jersey , † October 26, 1993 in Woodland Hills , California ) was an American film producer and director .

Career

He produced numerous successful films for Universal Pictures in the mid-1950s , including The House on the Beach with Joan Crawford , the science fiction film The Incredible Story of Mister C. , Douglas Sirks Written In The Wind and Orson Welles Film noir Under the Sign of Evil .

From the end of 1958 he was under contract with MGM , where he shot numerous B-films for a predominantly young audience. In addition, he worked as a freelance producer and brought films such as The Private Life of Adam and Eve for distribution.

In 1959 he directed Sex Kittens Go to College .
