Alberto Guani Amarilla

Alberto Antonio Guani Amarilla (born April 9, 1959 in Asunción , Paraguay ) is a Uruguayan diplomat .

Alberto Guani Amarilla studied International Relations and successfully completed his studies in Uruguay in 1987. From March 1989 he took his first job outside Uruguay in the foreign service in East Berlin . Later he was chief of protocol in the Uruguayan Foreign Ministry . He then held the function of Consul General in Rio de Janeiro . Since 2012 he has been the Uruguayan ambassador to Germany . He was received by Federal President Joachim Gauck on July 11, 2012 to receive the credentials .
