Alberto Morales (born April 8, 1964 in Morelia , Michoacan ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

career

Born in Morelense, he began his professional career in 1983 with his hometown club Atlético Morelia , where he was under contract until 1989 and for whom he scored his only four goals in the highest Mexican football league .

In the 1987/88 season he was loaned to Atlas Guadalajara , for which he was only used over 35 minutes in the last game of the season against local rivals Tecos UAG (0-2).

In 1989 Morales moved to Puebla FC , with whom he was both champions and cup winners in his first season in 1989/90 . In the league round of the championship season, Morales came to a total of twelve missions and another three in the Liguillas ; including one in each of the two finals against the team from the Universidad de Guadalajara . In the following season, Morales only came to seven missions and only one of them in the second half.

In the summer of 1991 Morales moved to Club America , for which he came to a total of twelve short appearances during the 1991/92 season. It was his last season in the Primera División .
