Albin Schlehahn
Albin Schlehahn (born July 1, 1870 in Eichigt , † August 23, 1939 in Jößnitz ) was a German landscape and flower painter.
Schlehahn spent his childhood at Jößnitz, attended the Plauen art school and a private painting school in Munich, studied from May 2, 1899 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Gabriel von Hackl .
After completing his studies, Schlehahn went on study trips to Tyrol and hiked with Albin Enders through the Black Forest and Franconian Switzerland . Schlehahn was a member of the "Vogtland painter group". Almost his entire life he worked in Plauen and Jößnitz, his landscapes are dedicated to the Vogtland .
A street in Jößnitz was named after Albin Schlehahn.
