Albrecht Metzger
Albrecht Metzger (* 1945 in Stuttgart ) is a German presenter , journalist and cabaret artist .
Career
In the 1970s, Albrecht Metzger was editor of the SDR youth program Jour Fix and moderator of Discussion and Teamwörk before he became known to a wide audience through the rock music program Rockpalast of the WDR . He was the first presenter of the studio programs from 1974. Together with Alan Bangs , he was the presenter of the long Rockpalastnächte , in which he announced the bands with the ritual phrase "German Television proudly presents - Dear friends, today we are our guest live at the Rockpalast: ...".
In 1977 Metzger moved from Stuttgart to West Berlin and played there until 1982 in the children's and youth theater Rote Grütze in the play I love you, the social worker Rocky. As a writer and director, Metzger shot more than 40 documentaries for ARD . As a cabaret artist, Metzger founded the Schwabenoffensive Berlin in Berlin in 1988 .
He toured the German cabaret with his solo program Spätzle loves meatball .
On internet radio silverdisc.de he hosted every first of the month, the "definitive rock music vinyl show '' clicks and hisses .
