Albrecht von Rehdiger

Karl Albrecht Hans Niclas von Rehdiger (born March 24, 1832 in Striese bei Schebitz , Trebnitz district ; † November 2, 1904 there ) was a German majorate owner and member of parliament.

Life

Albrecht was a son of Majoratsherrn auf Striese and Schebitz Rudolf von Rehdinger (1799–1861) and his wife Pauline, born von Werder († 1871). His sister Elisa (1829-1892) was married to the Prussian cavalry general Karl von Witzendorff (1824-1891) and his aunt Marie (* 1810) was married to Major General Wolf Benno von Schlegel .

Career

Rehdiger studied law at the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Breslau and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1852 he became a member of the Corps Marchia Breslau . In 1853 he joined the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After the legal traineeship, he became major councilor of Striese and Schebitz in the Trebnitz district. He was a member of the district committee and district council as well as registrar and head of office. In the Prussian Army he reached the rank of captain.

From 1877 to 1898 he sat for a total of six legislative periods as a member of the constituency of Breslau 2 (Militsch, Trebnitz) in the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1877 to 1879 he belonged to the faction of the New Conservative Party, from 1879 to 1898 to the faction of the Conservative Party . From 1889 to 1890 he was secretary of the House of Representatives.

family

In 1879 he married Hedwig von Baumbach (* 1855), daughter of Lieutenant General Friedrich von Baumbach . The marriage remained childless and the family died out.
