Aldo Pedro Duscher (born March 22, 1979 in Esquel , Patagonia ) is a former Argentine soccer player with an Austrian passport.
Career
The defensive midfielder began his career in 1996 with the Argentine first division club Newell's Old Boys . In 1998, at the age of 19, Sporting Lisbon brought him to Europe. With Sporting he won the Portuguese championship title in 2000 and then moved to the Spanish league to Deportivo La Coruña for a transfer fee of around 13 million euros . For the 2007/08 season he moved to Racing Santander on a free transfer . Between 2008 and 2010 he was under contract with FC Sevilla , where, however, especially in his second season, he could show little playing time. Duscher moved to Espanyol Barcelona for the 2010/11 season . After only 19 appearances there, he was awarded a year later to the Ecuadorian first division club Barcelona SC Guayaquil . There it was used seven times by the end of the year. He was then without a club for half a year before hiring Enosis Neon Paralimni from Cypriot first division side in mid-2012 . After eight appearances, he ended his career in 2013.
Aldo Duscher completed three international matches for the Argentine national team in 2005 .
