Aleš Lejsek

Aleš Lejsek (born September 6, 1982 in Jilemnice ) is a Czech biathlon trainer and former biathlete .

Aleš Lejsek is a ski instructor and lives in Jablonec nad Nisou . He has been actively involved in biathlon since 1998 and has been a member of the Czech national team since 2003. His club is the SKP Jappenx , where he was trained by Ondrej Rybár. Lejesk started in 2003 in Forni Avoltri at the Junior European Championships and in 2006 in Langdorf and 2007 in Bansko at the European Championships in biathlon, but without achieving any results worth mentioning. The best result was a sixth place with the relay in Bansko. Since 2003 Lejesk started in the Biathlon European Cup . He made his breakthrough here in the 2007/08 season when he first came third in the sprint in Bansko and then won the pursuit. The Czech was rarely used in the biathlon world cup . He achieved his best result in 2006 as 76th in a sprint in Hochfilzen .

After his active career, Lejsek became a coach and is currently assistant coach of the Czech men's B-squad and the women's A-squad.
