Alef dos Santos Saldanha (born January 28, 1995 in Nova Odessa , São Paulo ) is a Brazilian footballer.

Career

Growing up near Campinas , Alef started playing football at the age of six. During a regional tournament he was invited by a scout to the local club AA Ponte Preta at the age of 12 . Since then, his childhood dream began to come true and after seven years Alef was loaned to the French first division club Olympique Marseille, where he played in the B team ( Equipe-Pro ). The loan agreement with Ponte Preta ran until June 30, 2015 and was provided with a purchase option. The purchase option was not drawn by Marseille.

In July 2015 Alef was sold to Sporting Braga in Portugal . At the club he received a five-year contract. At the club he came to seven appearances in the B team of the club and one in the first. From the 2016 season, Alef was loaned to other clubs. He spent the 2016/17 season in Qatar with Umm-Salal SC . He spent the next season 2017/18 in Cyprus with Apollon Limassol . When Apollon won the Supercup , he was not in the squad. Alef was also loaned out for the 2018/29 season. His next stop was the AEK Athens . The club plays in the group stage of the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League a . a. against FC Bayern Munich . After a stopover at APOEL Nicosia , Alef was signed by the Hungarian club MOL Fehérvár FC in August 2020 .

Alef also plays in the U-20 of the Brazilian national soccer team .
