Alejandro Daniel Islas Arroyo (born May 24, 1992 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican diver . He starts in 3 m artificial and synchronized jumping. He is trained by Jorge Rueda.

Islas contested his first international title fights at the 2009 World Championships in Rome , where he finished tenth in the final with Jonathan Ruvalcaba in the 3-meter synchronized jumping. At the 2010 Junior World Championships in Tucson , he reached the final from the 1-meter and 3-meter board. Islas has formed a synchro duo with Yahel Castillo since 2012 . At the World Cup in London they finished seventh in the final and were nominated for the Olympic Games in the same place.
