Aleksandra Szwed (born August 8, 1990 in Warsaw ) is a Polish actress , singer and presenter .

Career

Before her debut in the media, Aleksandra Szwed worked in youth welfare and also studied cultural studies and psychology . Her acting career began in 1999 with a role in the television series "Rodzina zastępcza" (Eng. "Substitute Family") of the Polish broadcaster Polsat . Since then she has appeared in various television and cinema films . Since 2003 she has also worked at the theater .

In February 2009 she took part in the Polish preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with the Italian singer Marco Bocchino , but only achieved second place behind the winner Lidia Kopania . In August 2010 and October 2012 she undressed for Playboy magazine .

Trivia

Szwed's mother is Polish and her father is from Nigeria . She is one of a large group of people of Nigerian origin who are in public life in Poland. These include the Boxer Izu Ugonoh , the Member of Parliament John Godson , the television presenter Olimpia Ajakaiye , the former football player Emmanuel Olisadebe and the partisan and musicians August Agbola O'Browne .
