Aleksandra Yurkevskaya ( Russian Александра Юркевская , Alexandra Jurkewskaja ; born December 1, 1998 ) is an Uzbek heptathlete .

Athletic career

Aleksandra Yurkevskaya gained her first international experience at the 2015 Asian Youth Championships in Doha , where she won the bronze medal with 3875 points. In the following year she finished sixth in the Asian Indoor Championships with 3375 points in the pentathlon. At the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City , she won the silver medal with 4859 points. In 2017 she took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar and had to end her competition after the first day. In early September 2017 she took sixth place at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat . In 2018 she took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where she won the silver medal in the pentathlon with 3858 points behind Iranian Sepideh Tavakoli .

In 2016 she became the Uzbek champion in high jump.
