Aleksandras Bendinskas

Aleksandras Bendinskas (born February 23, 1920 in Skersabalis near Šilavotas , Prienai district ; † September 25, 2015 ) was a Lithuanian politician.

Life

From 1931 he studied at the "Žiburio" high school in Prienai and from 1938 to 1944 studied at the technical faculty of the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas in Kaunas . From 1940 to 1943 he worked in the company "Parama" as a technician and then as a director. From 1943 to 1945 he taught at the commercial college. In 1945 he was arrested for anti-Soviet activity in Soviet Lithuania and was in the gulag from 1945 to 1956 . In 1960 he graduated from the Institute for Light Industry in Moscow . From 1980 to 1990 he worked as a master in the technical vocational school. From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas .

He was the head of Lietuvos šaulių sąjunga , a member of Ateitininkai .
