Alessandro Mancini

Alessandro Mancini (born October 4, 1975 in the city ​​of San Marino ) is a San Marinese politician. Since April 2020 he has been Head of State ( Capitano Reggente ) of San Marino together with Grazia Zafferani .

Life

Mancini joined the Partito Socialista Sammarinese in 1991 , he belonged from 1997 to the executive committee and from 2003 to the secretariat (ufficio di segretaria) of the party. In 2005 the PSS merged with the Partito dei Democratici to form the Partito dei Socialisti e dei Democratici . In 1998 and 2001 Mancini ran for parliamentary elections on the PSS list, but failed to make it into parliament. In 2006 he was elected for the PSD in the Consiglio Grande e Generale , the San Marinese parliament. He was a member of the Foreign and Finance Committee. In 2008 he moved into parliament again for the PSD. He became a member of the Consiglio dei XII and the Foreign Committee. Mancini left the PSD in 2009 and was one of the founders of the Partito Socialista Riformista Sammarinese with seven other members of the Consiglio Grande e Generale . He became a member of the party secretariat. In May 2012, the PSRS merged with the Nuovo Partito Socialista to form the Partito Socialista (PS), Mancini was a member of the party executive. In the 2012 general election, Mancini was elected to the PS list. He was again a member of the Consiglio dei XII and the Foreign Committee. In the parliamentary elections in 2016, he was again on the list of the Paritio Socialista in parliament. He belongs again to the Consiglio dei XII and was chairman of the PS group.

From April to October 2007, Mancini was together with Alessandro Rossi Head of State ( Capitano Reggente ) of San Marino. He has held the office together with Grazia Zafferani since April 2020. The term of office ends in October.

Mancini works as a freelancer, lives in Falciano, is married and has a daughter.
