Aletsch Arena
The Aletsch Arena AG On behalf of the municipalities Mörel-Filet , Riederalp , Bettmeralp , Fiesch , Fieschertal , Lax the tasks of information, entertainment, advertising and sales for local tourism in the Aletsch Arena from the Aletsch Railways. In addition, the Aletsch Tourism Association takes on the representation of interests in accordance with the Tourism Act. Aletsch Arena AG is one of the largest tourism companies in Valais.

The ski area is located in the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site . The ski slopes have some direct connection to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (and Brig to the Swiss Federal Railways ). 35 different transport of passenger transport brought in 2012 34,000 skiers per hour in the field to the total of 104 kilometers of slopes. In addition, there are 11 km of cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails totaling 75.5 km in length. 260 snow guns cover 62% of the slopes in winter.

summer
In summer the area includes 150 kilometers of hiking trails and 100 km of mountain bike trails.
Awards
In the annual Best Ski Resort 2012 competition in Innsbruck , in which 55 top ski areas from Austria , Germany , Italy , France and Switzerland took part, the Aletsch Arena took third place behind Saas Fee (Switzerland) and Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ( Tyrol ).
